Frederick Douglass's achievements have had a lasting impact on society. To start off with, his lasting impact was to stop slavery and segregation in The United States of America.This really did help society because it promoted the idea for equal rights. Secondly, he inspired other slaves to escape and slave owners to free their slaves. Without Frederick Douglass's inspiration other slaves wouldn't have taken action. Thirdly, America could of been a lot different if Frederick Douglass did not exist. America could had less of an economy than today. Fourthly, his involvement in history probably inspire the 13 and 19 amendments. Without him where would we be?
